Who we accept applications from.
We accept applications from SEO and search marketing specialists, copywriters, social media managers, content marketers, paid media and digital marketers, email and CRM marketers, public relations and communications professionals, and brand and marketing strategists.
This is not the full list. The application form shows every specialism you can choose from.
You must be independent and offer services in the UK. You choose up to five specialisms for your listing, so clients can find you by the work you do.

Every listing is provided by the professional it describes. Listings marked as advertisement or paid placement have been paid for. Paid listings renew every month, every three months or every year until you cancel. Each price is fixed and does not change at renewal.

Approval and payment
We review every listing before anything is published, and we email you when we have decided.
- Decision. We decide every listing within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. The 24 hours do not run over a weekend, so a listing received on a Saturday or Sunday is decided on Monday.
- Free listing. Nothing is paid.
- Paid listing. Payments are made online. You choose monthly, every three months or annual and pay by card at our secure checkout as soon as you send your listing.
- Going live. Your listing goes live once we have approved it and confirmed your payment. Your listing period starts on the day your listing goes live, not the day you pay, and your next payment is taken at the end of that period.
- Not live in time. If it is not live within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, of your payment, or we do not publish it, we refund your payment in full.
- Some countries. For security, we cannot take listings or payments through this form from some countries. If that is you, email us and a person will help with a listing.
Renewals, cancellation and refunds
- Renewals. Paid listings are subscriptions, billed every month, every three months or every year by card, and renew automatically until you cancel. Each price is fixed and does not change at renewal.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Your listing then stays live until the end of the period you have paid for, and we take no further payments.
- A business purchase. You buy paid listings for your business, so the 14-day cancellation right that protects consumers does not apply.
- Refunds. Because your listing goes live as soon as it is approved and your payment is confirmed, we do not refund a payment once the listing is live, with these exceptions. We refund in full if your listing is not live within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, of your payment, or we do not publish it, or cannot, after you have paid. If we remove your listing for any reason other than inaccuracy or your breach of these terms, we refund each unused day you have paid for.
- How refunds are paid. We process refunds within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and they usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
- Inaccurate listings. If we remove a listing because information in it is or becomes inaccurate or misleading at any point while it is live, we give no refund.
- Your rights. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Clients contact you
Clients find you in the directory and contact you directly. You agree the work and the price with them.
If a paid listing is not live within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, of your payment, we refund you in full.
What we do and do not do
You stay independent.
The professionals listed in the directory are independent. They are not employees or associates of Brand Strategy UK, and we do not recommend, match or place them. Clients contact and contract with you directly.
We review every listing before it is published. Professional and premier listings are advertising.
The directory is separate from associate work. If you want to work alongside us on client engagements, apply as an associate instead.

Is a basic listing free?
Yes. A basic listing is free, and nothing is paid. It is a card in the directory with your name, headline, specialisms, location and phone number. A free listing needs a phone number, because it is how visitors reach you.
How quickly do you decide on a listing?
We decide every listing within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and we email you our decision. The 24 hours do not run over a weekend, so a listing received on a Saturday or Sunday is decided on Monday.
When does a paid listing start, and can I cancel?
Your listing period starts on the day your listing goes live, not the day you pay. Paid listings renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing us, and your listing stays live until the end of the period you have paid for.
Will Brand Strategy UK send me clients?
No. We do not recommend, match or place anyone. Clients find you in the directory and contact you directly, and you agree the work with them yourself.
Is a listing the same as working with you as an associate?
No. The directory is separate from associate work. A listing does not make you an employee or associate of Brand Strategy UK. To work alongside us on client engagements, apply as an associate on our Work with us page.
